About Vincent

Vincent Berthet is an Assistant Professor in quantitative psychology at the University of Lorraine and a researcher at the Centre d’Economie de la Sorbonne. Vincent earned his PhD from the University of Nancy and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Laboratoire de Sciences Cognitives et Psycholinguistique at the Ecole Normale Supérieure (Ulm). He also holds an MSc in Political Science from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University.

As an expert in behavioral science, his research focuses on cognitive biases in decision-making and how AI can be leveraged to reduce them.

From 2016 to 2018, Vincent served as a Policy Officer at the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, within the Social Sciences and Humanities department at the Direction générale de la recherche et de l’innovation (DGRI).

Vincent also works as a scientific advisor for companies. For example, he collaborated with the Direction de la Transformation de la Française des Jeux from 2018 to 2021.

In 2023, Vincent founded Pipl Analytics, a startup that develops AI-based tools for recruiters.
